The largest resort in the Western Hemisphere
Baha Mar was poised to reveal its unparalleled luxury experience to the world, but had yet to tackle the digital space. The launch campaign — Welcome To The New Riviera — paid homage to the glamorous beach destinations of the past, while introducing a modern sense of adventure. The digital launch needed to capture the brand’s message of elegant discovery.
After much research, badgering questions, and trial and error, we ferreted out the limits and capabilities of several high-impact units. Instead of dreary old clickable banners, we created a series of interactive micro-sites that allowed the user to explore a hotspot-covered map of the resort, scroll through photo galleries and book their experience directly.
In one particularly complex unit — my favorite — we created a customizable, immersive and shareable experience that served double duty as a vehicle to educate users on all the varied options at Baha Mar.
After completing a simple quiz of how the user would like to spend a vacation day at the resort, the site would compile the answers and present a sensory video to give a captivating sense of the Baha Mar brand.
